Editorial Policy

Who writes this

Resolution Journal is published by Resolution, a business process advisory firm that also builds and operates its own software. Articles are written by the operating team, not by contracted writers, and they are drawn from work we do for paying clients or on our own products.

What we publish and how we source it

Every claim in an article falls into one of three categories, and we try to make clear which one applies:

1. Our own production data. Numbers from systems we run. These are the claims nobody else can make, and they are the reason this publication exists.
2. Primary sources. Peer-reviewed research, official documentation, filings, or a vendor's own pricing page captured on a stated date. We link the primary source, not a summary of it.
3. Our opinion. Clearly framed as argument, with the strongest counter-argument we can construct included in the same piece.

Where a finding is contested or has failed replication, we say so in the article rather than in a footnote. Where we have not run something ourselves, we state that up front.

Corrections

Errors are corrected in place, with a dated note at the foot of the article describing what changed. We do not silently edit published claims. If you believe something here is wrong, write to contact@resolutioncorp.com.br — a correction request with a source attached will always get a reply.

Money

This publication is funded by display advertising, affiliate links and the advisory business behind it. Three rules govern that:

• Advertisers have no access to editorial and no advance sight of articles.
• Affiliate relationships never determine which tool or book is recommended, and we publish negative findings about products we earn from. Resolution is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program; as an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
• Any sponsored or paid placement is labelled as such at the top of the piece. There is currently none.

Use of AI

We use language models as drafting and research tools, as we do for the software we build. Every published claim is reviewed by a human against its source before publication, and the editorial responsibility for anything appearing here is entirely ours.
